You may say Burma is democratizing, but without access to Education nothing will change.

Brilliant Burma Assessment & Evaluation

Brilliant Burma students receive term grades to provide them with valuable feedback and establish a basis to monitor and evaluate their performance and progress over the duration of the program. These grades are based on monthly testing, assignment and homework quality, and attendance and participation. This has proven to be vital in evaluating a student's development and preparing them for the academic standards at university. Students who fail to maintain adequate grades or standards in assignment completion or attendance are encouraged and given time to improve; students who fail to show commitment to the program are dismissed.

Brilliant Burma conducts monthly TOEFL practice testing using tests published by recognized international publishers of testing preparation materials and uses this accumulated data to evaluate our program. Below is a graph that shows the average student results in four core areas (Structure, Written, Reading Comprehension, and Listening) on monthly TOEFL practice testing given over Brilliant Burma's initial nine months, 1st June, 2011 to 1st March, 2012.

Brilliant Burma TOEFL Preparation Results - June 2011 - March 2012   Statistical Note:
Brilliant Burma TOEFL Preparation Results Graph   The X-axis is date, Y-axis percentile score on standard TOEFL practice tests given on a monthly basis to our students. The trend lines are calculated linear regressions, in four core skill areas, based on monthly testing scores of our students. The natural variation of testing and a small sample size makes statistical correlation of our results uncertain but we have offered R-Squared values for those that are interested.
